Tickets Still Available for the Flyover Comedy Festival This Weekend
This weekend marks the second year of the playfully named Flyover Comedy Festival in The Grove neighborhood of St. Louis, featuring headliner and Chicago native Cameron Esposito, whom you’ve seen on the comedy show “Take My Wife,” as well as appearances on NBC, CBS, Comedy Central and more. Esposito is also well-known for her comedy specials, and has just released a brand-new one called “Rape Jokes.”
Performers also include Shane Torres, Janelle James, The Improvised Shakespeare Company, Hannibal Buress, surprise guests and more, with events taking place almost around the clock this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The lineup reflects a variety of established and brand-new talent, all seeking to push boundaries and highlight truths.
Performances will take place in a variety of locations throughout The Grove, including The Ready Room, The Improv Shop, The Monocle and HandleBar. Tickets for individual events cost up to $25, but you can also purchase a three-day pass for $40, which allows entrance for all festival events.
So if you’re looking for the perfect way to spend a classically Midwestern fall weekend, gather your friends together for the festival and hop from venue to venue, or popping in to festival sponsor Urban Chestnut for a bite and smooth brew. For the event schedule, tickets and more information, be sure to have a look at the festival website.
