Shop Whole Foods On Oct. 25 To Benefit St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra

 In Culture, Event

The St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra will be playing a happy tune soon: they have been selected for Whole Foods Market’s upcoming community giving day on October 25 and will receive 5 percent of the grocery store’s profits. The Youth Orchestra’s mission is to further the talents of young musicians, aged 12-22 years old, and the proceeds from this benefit will provide much-needed additional funding toward that goal.

Three Whole Foods Markets across St. Louis will participate, including the Central West End, Town and Country and Brentwood Square locations. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the Youth Orchestra, and shoppers may enter a raffle to win tickets to this year’s Holiday Celebration concert at Powell Hall.
