Hot Chocolate 15k/5k Returns To St. Louis Dec. 11

 In Culture, Sponsored

The Hot Chocolate 15k/5k heads to St. Louis on Sunday, Dec. 11, at Soldiers’ Memorial.

The 15k and 5k commence at 7:30am, and runners are greeted at the finish line by hot chocolate, chocolate goodies and chocolate fondue — ample motivation for any runner trekking through St. Louis on a December morning.

All participants will receive a goodie bag featuring a full-zip jacket detailed with a cozy hood, practical thumbholes and a slimming design. The jacket’s deep front pockets are ideal for storing keys or a phone, and the jacket is available in both men’s and women’s cuts.

In addition, 15k participants will receive an official Hot Chocolate St. Louis medal to commemorate their achievement. Each medal features a chocolate bar lookalike wrapped in gold, hung by a shimmering Finisher ribbon. Likewise, a St. Louis collector’s coin is removable and magnetic, making it perfect for showing off on the refrigerator.

Featuring state-of-the-art timing, runner tracking, pacers and preferred corrals for qualifying runners, the Hot Chocolate 15k and 5k cater to the seasoned runner. Upon registration, each participant will receive a 4-12 week training program customized to meet participant fitness levels, goals and course distances.

This year’s official charity is the Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis, an organization that provides a “home-away-from-home” for the families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at St. Louis-area hospitals.

Registration is open for the Hot Chocolate 15k/5k and is available online.
