Join the local creative community for parti, a panel discussion and social gathering on Thursday, Dec. 12, at Centro Modern Furnishings, a contemporary furniture, lighting and home accessories retail showroom in the Central West End. Mingle with your fellow design enthusiasts while hearing from experts including:
• Carlos Zamora, founder of Zamora Design & Illustration and AIGA Saint Louis mentorship chair
• Susan Bower, architect with Bower Leet Design
• Genny Cortinovis, assistant curator or decorative arts and design for the Saint Louis Art Museum
• A member of the Centro team

The evening’s moderator is Attilio D’Agostino, photographer and editor-in-chief at ALIVE magazine. He’ll open the hour-long panel discussion at 6:30 p.m. Plan to arrive when doors open at 5:30 p.m. for appetizers from Brennan’s, spirits from 1220 and beer from 4 Hands Brewing Co., along with live music from The Dhoruba Collective and shopping opportunities from stylish local vendors like May’s Place, East + West and Mahnal.

After the panel ends at 7:30 p.m., guests will have an opportunity to chat with the panelists and reflect on the evening’s themes before parti concludes at 8 p.m.

As part of the event, Centro is giving away an Emeco Navy chair, an American classic based on a 1944 design for use in submarines and valued at $575. To enter the drawing, submit your email address in advance. The winner must be present at 8 p.m. to claim the prize.

parti takes place Dec. 12 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Centro in the Central West End. Admission is free, but guests are asked to sign up online in advance.
