4 Hands Celebrates 7th Annual Lupulin Carnival at Union Station

 In Culture, Event

St. Louis brewery 4 Hands will bring its 7th annual Lupulin Carnival to St. Louis’ historic Union Station from 12-4 p.m. on May 19. According to the brewing company, the festival is considered the “Greatest Beer Festival of All Time,” and with this year’s lineup, one can understand how that just might be true.

Guests at the carnival will be highly entertained by the countless acts—including acrobats, fortune tellers, fire performers, sword swallowers and snake charmers—and that’s just throughout the carnival. On the main stage, located in the center of the breweries, guests can enjoy sets by a variety of DJs, live musical acts and other performers. For guests looking for a romantic getaway during the festival—or just an opportunity to get off their feet—the carnival will also feature a Ferris wheel.

In addition to celebrating 4 Hands’ release of its Warhammer Imperial IPA, guests will also have the opportunity to taste hops from an expected 95 breweries from across the country, such as Dogfish Head from Delaware, Brooklyn Brewery from New York and Firestone Walker from California, among several others. Guests can also fill up on good eats from local food trucks such as Seoul Taco, Sugar Fire Smokehouse, Ices Plain & Fancy and plenty more.

Tickets for the Lupulin Carnival are $55 and can be purchased on the carnival’s website. For those looking to just partake in the day’s festivities sans brews and provide a safe ride back home for their family and friends, $15 tickets are available for designated drivers.

When: May 19, 12-9 p.m.
Where: St. Louis Union Station (1220 South 8th St.)
