Chef Gerard Craft's newest venture, Pastaria by Niche, not only has St. Louis buzzing, but national media as well. Not bad for a guy who got his start washing dishes in a pool hall. Named by Eater.com as one of the 25 most anticipated restaurant openings of 2012, Pastaria will focus on house-made pastas served, no doubt, with Craft's inimitable style. The eatery will also boast a grill and wood oven for cooking meats. As of right now, the word is that Pastaria will be opening its doors in Clayton's Centene Plaza in August. Niche, Craft's original restaurant, will also relocate to Centene with plans to open in October.
