Water Street

The modest and charming Water Street Cafe offers unique cocktails and a menu focusing on local ingredients. The menu is minuscule with a handful of appetizers and a entrees, but the point is to point all the effort and soul into the foods ingredients. Try the small plate of salt-cured salmon which is spiked with a horseradish cream or for an entree try the flatbread. It's the most interesting but also the most variable because it changes week to week depending on the produce at the Maplewood Farmer's Market just down the block. The bistro-style atmosphere is perfect for sipping one of the vintage inspired cocktails like the "Hemingway's Daiquiri" made with run, maraschino liqueur and lime and grapefruit juices.
