A.J. Thouvenot, Designer for Andy J. Designs

Bio: A.J. Thouvenot is a St. Louis based fashion designer whose whimsical designs seek to bring a little playtime back into our wardrobe. His credits include interning with notorious club kid designers Richie Rich and Traver Rains of "Heatherette", Appearances in US Weekly and ALIVE Magazine, multiple appearances on the "Project Design" runway, designs featured on "TLC", and Lifetime’s “Project Runway Season 8".

Richard “Rick” S. Gelber, Senior Vice President & General Manager-Carlos by Carlos Santana

Rick Gelber is Senior Vice President & General Manager for the Carlos by Carlos Santana brand at Brown Shoe Company, Inc. (NYSE:BWS, www.brownshoe.com), a role he assumed in August 2007. He is responsible for the strategy and wholesale operations of Carlos by Carlos Santana, including sales and product development, and building on current momentum to drive growth.

Gelber became General Manager of the Carlos by Carlos Santana brand in 2002 as it was launching, and in the last decade has overseen its growth to more than 1,000 points of retail distribution, including e-commerce site CarlosShoes.com. He was promoted to Senior Vice President-Product Design and Creative Director for Brown Shoe in 2005, overseeing a unified product development organization for the company’s wholesale brands.

Gelber joined Brown Shoe in 1981, and held a variety of sales and design positions in the 12 years prior to being named General Manager for Carlos by Carlos Santana. He briefly served as President at Charles David in early 2007.

Gelber obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Business.

Jill Manoff, Fashion Editor, ALIVE Magazine/Corridor40

Usually juggling multiple garment bags, shopping bags and fashion-related projects, Jill Manoff, ALIVE's Fashion Editor since 2004, loves that there is no "typical day" at work. In addition to styling editorials and writing fashion-focused articles for ALIVE, she can often be found perfecting content and planning photo shoots as Executive Editor of online publication Corridor40, which she co-founded in May of 2009. On the side, she works as a freelance fashion show producer, freelance fashion writer and freelance stylist for such companies as Bakers Footwear and The Scholarshop, and you can catch her on TV as a fashion correspondent on Fox2 News in the Morning. While she has long called seasonally attending New York Fashion Week her biggest job perk, styling test shoots featuring emerging models is definitely a close second.

Jane Katherine Zachritz, Fashion Designer, Jane Katherine

A Saint Louis native, Jane Katherine Zachritz is a new face to the fashion industry. She received her BFA in Fashion Design and Product Development at Stephens College. While in school, she studied abroad, where she interned with Tata-Naka, an upcoming design house based in London.

Jane Katherine Zachritz debuted her first collection, Jezebel, during Fall 2010 Saint Louis Fashion Week Project:Design! — where she won the "People’s Choice" award. This past May, her most recent collection, Jane Katherine, was shown at Pins and Needles, an alternative fashion show. Currently, Jane continues to build her brand in Saint Louis as a freelance designer.

Sarah Craig Garlich, Owner, Cha Boutique

Is an Arizona State Alumni and relocated to St. Louis in 2006, married her college sweetheart in July 2009 and February 2010 Sarah and her husband, Pat opened Cha Boutique in Ladue. This year Cha was voted Best New Boutique by St. Louis Magazine and Alive Hot List Winner for Best Trends! Sarah welcomed her first child, Patrick Jr. in April and is getting used to running Cha and being a mom! While she is not running Cha and playing with her son, she enjoys playing and watching sports, fashion, photography,traveling and soon plans to open a Cha store in Colorado.

As a former celebrity stylist, Darin Slyman brings over 15-years experience from the style industry. From styling celebrity clients, producing photo shoots and contributing to various print, radio and TV outlets, Darin has been inside and out of this fabulous fashion world.

In 2009, Darin switched up careers and is now the publisher of theVital VOICE Magazine where he enjoys bringing LGBT media to the forefront for the St. Louis Market. Darin’s fresh approach to LGBT media has taken Vital VOICE to a whole new level.

"I want to showcase, exonerate and promote anything and everything that is awesome about the LGBT community."
