About Project:Design!Mission Text Size S M L

Mission

Project:Design! was created to find the best new fashion design talent and provide a high-profile launching pad for their careers. Project:Design! supports the creativity, innovation and artistry of new designers by giving them the exposure, experience and tools they need to take their collections from runway to retail.

Project:Design! believes that today's up-and-coming designers are more than tomorrow's household names - their work and original ideas fuel the movements that influence brands and global trends at the highest levels of fashion.

Project:Design! sees fashion as art that both influences and is influenced by the powerful cross currents of music, contemporary culture, history, street culture, fine art, illustration, architecture, graphic design, performance art and dance. Project:Design! celebrates the diversity of these influences and supports collaboration between the arts through events that integrate live music, fine art, street art, performance art and dance.

Project:Design! is a competition, showcase and network developed to support the success, recognize the originality and reward the best of these innovators from the next generation of fashion.

The mission of Project:Design! is the success of our designers-whether just completing their degree, recently graduated, working on their first collection for retail sale or preparing for their first market.
