CAM curators Dominic Molon and Kelly Shindler hosted the event, with appearances from Great Rivers artists David Johnson, Asma Kazmi and Mel Trad. Presented by J.P. Morgan, the event included a complimentary bar and valet.

    May 3, 2012. Photos by Rachel Mitchell/ALIVE Scene Team. Shopaholics came out in full force for Ladies Night Out at Plaza Frontenac where they put their well-honed shopping skills to work. Teams of ladies were led on a scavenger-inspired hunt through stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Stonewater Spa and Ylang-Ylang. After completing the sartorial tasks, the teams reconvened in Center Court to mingle with others, win prizes and enjoy delicious Anheuser-Busch drinks and appetizers from the Fountain on Locust.

    May 3, 2012. Photos by Christopher Gibbons/ ALIVE Scene Team The Multiple Sclerosis Society held its 4th Annual Women on the Move Luncheon in downtown St. Louis on May 3. News 4's Claire Kellett was on hand to speak with several women affected by MS, as was guest speaker Camerone Elise Parker, who has appeared in more than 300 magazines worldwide. Money raised during the event went to support programs for more than 6,800 people fighting the condition.

These downtown happy hours will take place every Wednesday until August 29 at multiple locations. During happy hour, guests can enjoy half-priced appetizers, $2 domestic beers, $3 premium beers, $3 wines, and $4 cocktails.

    April 28, 2012. Photos by Alex Pangilinan/ALIVE Scene Team. Variety the Children's Charity of St. Louis hosted its annual Dinner with the Stars on April 28 at the Peabody Opera House. Emcee Joe Buck led the festivities, which included a performance by the notable Diana Ross. Guests enjoyed the music, food, and drinks, all while raising money for the children with disabilities that Variety helps.

The Nine Network of Public Media presented the first annual STL Celebrity Voices on Saturday, April 28, where celebrities and St. Louis youth teamed up for an audience. They performed original poetry and music co-written with America SCORES youth. The event was hosted by New York Times best-selling author Ridley Pearson and talk show host McGraw Milhaven.

Models strutted down the runwway looking as if they just stepped out of a fairytale. Whimsical and theatrical couture pieces visually entertained the crowd as the alternative hair and fashion show played out the audiences wildest dreams.

This cocktail party and fashion show brought out some of the best designers from the region. Patrons marveled at uniqually dressed models as they showed off some of the hottest fashion on the market!

Photos by Jules Brown/ALIVE Scene Team The annual BLUSH Spring Fashion show featured models working the season?s hottest looks from Blush Boutique and Clay & Cotton, both located in Downtown Kirkwood. This year, the event raised money for Angels? Arms, a non-profit organization that works to provide homes for foster children and aims to keep siblings together. Guests enjoyed the fashion offerings, complimentary hors d?oeuvres and cocktails.

Photos by Rachel Mitchell/ALIVE Scene Team St. Louis natives and celebrities Scott Foley, Ellie Kemper and Sarah Clarke made their way back home for COCAcabana, the Center of Creative Arts? annual spring fundraising event. Funds raised support COCA?s many programs, including the COCA Family Theatre Series, classes and workshops in dance and music, etc. This year?s theme was White Hot, and guests were encouraged to get creative and reflect it in their dress. The event included a cocktail hour, live auction, dinner and dancing.
