The Jewish Federations?s Young Professionals Division hosted an evening of Western-themed fun and entertainment for Jewish young adults at the Crowne Plaza, where guests enjoyed a variety of hor d?oeuvres, a premium open bar, Texas Hold?em and a mechanical bull, for the most courageous of partygoers. The event served as the 2012 Young Professionals Division campaign kickoff, where roughly 300 attendees aged 22-40 donned their best Western attire including a fine selection of cowboy hats, boots and flannel printed shirts, and saddled up for an action- and adventure-packed evening in celebration of the St. Louis Jewish community.

St. Louis? most charitable and sophisticated donned their finest attire for the third annual Dancing With the St. Louis Stars, a star-studded ballroom competition featuring prominent St. Louis figures who endured weeks of rehearsals, pointed dancing shoes, and nervous anticipation as they prepared to take the stage. Guests enjoyed an upscale cocktail hour and dinner followed by the much-awaited dance competition, with a chance to vote for their favorite team after the show. All proceeds from the event went directly to the Independence Center, an organization that provides programs and services to adults in the St. Louis metropolitan area with serious and persistent mental illnesses.

Future brides, grooms and guests convened at the swanky, sophisticated Lumen to see the latest local trends in everything bridal. The event attracted a chic, elegant crowd to meet the city?s best bridal vendors without having to drive all over town. Top caterers, bakeries, florists, and jewelers, including The Cup, Petals Galore, Jule, Ladybird Couture, Stella & Dot Jewelry and many more. The Savvy Surrounding Lounge upstairs included a selection of art and home decor items, as well as a prime view of the much-anticipated fashion show featuring elegant wedding gowns from Fleur De Lis Bridal Boutique and gorgeous bridesmaid dresses from Bella Bridesmaid. Attendees enjoyed complimentary beer from Anheuser-Busch, and VIP brides tasted Pearl Wedding Cake cocktails and Chandon sparkling wine, and went home with a special gift bag with gifts from the vendors.

With a $5 donation to United Way of Greater St. Louis, attendees could receive a complimentary beer from Stella Artois, Leffe or Hoegaarden and a glass of wine from Cline Wines. Appetizers from Culinaria were provided as well, with 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit United Way of Greater St. Louis.

Mobile parked outside selling tasty and innovative cuisine. Ocurring the last Thursday of every month, CAM nights are a great way to start the weekend off right with great food, drinks, and contemporary art.
