Luxury Resale Boutique Owner Releases New Book on Her Rise to Entrepreneurship

 In News, Style

In 2014, Sue McCarthy opened The Vault Luxury Resale in St. Louis and has since curated a collection of goods from luxury brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Manolo Blahnik among several others. With the help of her family Diana McCarthy Ward and Laura McCarthy Maurice, the store has climbed the ranks as being one of the top luxury resale stores in the nation. Prior to opening the Brentwood location, McCarthy also starred on the Style Network’s “Resale Royalty.” Now, she has decided to tell the story of how she has done it all in her new self-published book “Good, Better, Best: The Rags-to-Riches Story of the Upscaled Resale Queen.”

In an effort to inspire entrepreneurship among women, McCarthy chronicles both the perils and pearls of her life story. According to the book’s website, she chronicles her childhood of homelessness into her success as a dynamic owner of a multi-million dollar business. In addition, McCarthy takes readers into the closets of some of the world’s wealthiest and stylish women, where she hunts for looks to bring back to her customers itching for the latest luxury threads at an affordable price.

“Good, Better and Best” launched Aug. 2 via a book signing at The Vault. It is currently available for purchase online.
