There’s a good chance you’ve seen the billboards, or have driven by the old Macy’s warehouse and noticed that it’s plastered with a new label. If you’re a thrift fiend like me, you’ve undoubtedly been curious. A Goodwill Outlet? What in the world…? The signs have offered a bit of scoop, including the fact that the store will open May 5—and a “Buy the Bag” tagline suggests that its prices will be pound-based. Many would argue that a girl can never have too many shoes; I am one of those people. They pretty-up your closet, they pretty-up your feet and buying them ignites something many have deemed a “shoegasm”. In a nutshell, few things are better. When a coworker put a bug in my ear late last week that Splash—my personal go-to for swimwear, menswear, denim and flirty, trendy things—was closing, I was a bit skeptical. Really?!
