Godfried originally hails from Ghana, West Africa. Moving on to Canada, Australia, and then the Fiji Islands, he eventually landed in St. Louis. This unique background bestowed upon him a global perspective on style, aesthetics and the art of being a gentleman. When he isn’t working with clients at his startup, The Urbane Gentleman, Godfried enjoys reading up on business and style, sports, traveling, and experiencing different restaurants.

Social media junkie Lisa Bertrand has written for a host of local and national websites since she began blogging seven years ago. She is also a member of St. Louis Women in Social Media and contributes to STLFamilyLife and Girls Guide to the Galaxy. She lives in West County with her son, husband, a puppy and a little old lady dog.

Alex studied Fashion Merchandising while a student at Missouri State, but her passion for fashion goes way back. Before graduation, she interned with DIYStyle, where she was introduced into the world of design. She learned how to craft clothing, accessories and other wearable works of art. Now, as an official DIYStyle crafty chick, Alex is sharing what she’s learned with other creative DIYers who want to know how to make things their own way. “I get to experiment with clothing in a way I never thought I would,” she says of her job, which entails sharing DIY fashion trends, tools and how-to’s with readers here and on the DIYStyle blog.

Usually juggling multiple garment bags, shopping bags and fashion-related projects, Jill Manoff, ALIVE's Fashion Editor since 2004, loves that there is no "typical day" at work. In addition to styling editorials and writing fashion-focused articles for ALIVE, she can often be found perfecting content and planning photo shoots as Executive Editor of online publication Corridor40, which she co-founded in May of 2009. On the side, she works as a freelance fashion show producer, freelance fashion writer and freelance stylist for such companies as Bakers Footwear and The Scholarshop, and you can catch her on TV as a fashion correspondent on Fox2 News in the Morning. While she has long called seasonally attending New York Fashion Week her biggest job perk, her exciting new gig- styling model test shoots both in STL and outside markets- is already a close second.

Recovering English professor Jeff McIntire-Strasburg started sustainablog in 2003 as a hobby... but now makes his living writing about the wide world of green. A former writer at Treehugger, and current contributor the Sundance Channel's SUNfiltered blog, Jeff loves telling the stories of entrepreneurs, artists, activists, and ordinary folks figuring out how to work and live in a more sustainable manner.

“To enjoy the flavor of life, take big bites” is a sentiment ALIVE Dining and Nightlife editor Cristy Miller takes very seriously. Whether she’s indulging in a peanut butter milkshake at Pi, savoring a steak at Mike Shannon’s or sipping a cocktail at Taste by Niche, you can always find Cristy out on the St. Louis dining scene to bring readers the latest dish. As an editor at ALIVE magazine for over 7 years, she’s been the go-to gal for what’s new, what’s hot and what’s happening and brings her on-the-pulse insight to her blog, The Dish. Bon Appétit!

Never one to believe that sleep is completely necessary, Pamela keeps a hectic social schedule so she sees a lot of sex and relationship dilemmas. A native of New Orleans, you can bet there will be a mix of Southern sass and Yankee tough love in all of her columns.
