Stylish Inspiration for the Spring

I am not really much of a fashionista. I don’t follow all of the latest trends or know what brands celebs are currently wearing. I do however enjoy fashion and the role it can play in my life as a source of inspiration and an expression of my current mood, interests or obsessions.  Last night I went to a fashion show put on by Ola Hawatmeh (Founder & CEO of Mom Me Makeover) and Jessica Young (Owner of Jecca boutique). Finding Peace at Powell

Wednesday after a day of organizing our new office and other task list-y items I was ready for something cultural to get my creativity flowing.  I met up with my P.I.C. (partner-in-crime) to go to a special evening at Powell Hall. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE the Symphony? Not only do they have one of the most talented orchestra’s in the world but they also do incredible special presentations like this one – Music of the Middle East from Israel to Kurdistan. The Power of the Park

If you are anything like me there are a handful of things that can make you question your sanity. For me one of those things is preparing my taxes. Each year the idea of reviewing the financial ups and downs of the previous year- what I made, what the stock market did or didn’t do and what my business expenses were over the last 12 months- it’s enough to make my head explode.
