Susan Taylor Glasgow’s exhibition of The Communal Nest is featured at Craft Alliance’s Grand Center Gallery in the Kranzberg Arts Center. Glasgow is a nationally exhibited glass artist who came up with the concept of The Communal Nest while at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. The nest is 10 feet in diameter and is composed of more than 500 glass twigs interwoven with real branches. Multiple artists have contributed to the nest, and Glasgow continues to collaborate with artists across the country. She currently resides in Columbia, MO. This is the sixth installation of the nest and it can be viewed at Craft Alliance through Aug. 26.
